Well I tried it and although it wasn't too bad to create and use it didn't really work for me - there are only so many shops one can promote!

SO my website AudreysCatVintage will be disappearing soon.

HOWEVER AudreysCat STILL exists and florishes on Folksy primarily showing my cushion collection - where you can select from over a 100 vintage fabrics  so why not head on over and check out  AudreysCat on Folksy - Cushions and Vintage Fabrics . Maybe you'll find JUST what you are looking  for ? If not ... just ask... I STILL have others not listed ;)!

New in 2014 - new shop, new sewing machine, new products!

Hi all , lots of new stuff in the pipeline...

Slowly putting together a new shop to feature new products ... bringing together my arty skills and my sewing.

A NEW DIRECTION! 
Witty Dawn - Over Christmas I worked on a new logo and other design ideas - it may be a while b4 you see the products however ! I wanted a name and logo that was more specific to me - and so it's  a play on my name Dawn Witt and a character modelling one of my fav vintage hats . I'd like to hear what you think! My Etsy shop has moved to this name and I have a new - as yet unstocked shop on Folksy

AudreysCat - still going strong and with a good Christmas behind me :)  This shop also enabled me to be featured both in House Beautiful and in my local paper so it's NOT disappearing! but over time will be more specifically focused on vintage cushions/ bags and offering a wide range of custom options. AudreysCat will mainly be on Folksy - it's original home from  May 2010! - it's is a Folksy featured shop, with over 300 sales now. You'll probably  be see my AudreysCat artwork being developed  in my WittyDawn shop too!( sorry for the copywrite statement all over it but it has already been used without my permission once! AND SOME NEW KIT TOO....
As part of this new venture I felt I need a sewing machine to match my ambitions - some of the preceeds from my beloved AudreysCat shop have been set aside to buy a new sewing machine! so I'm setting aside some time to play with this and to develop my ideas. I'm not getting rid of my old, basic Brother machine though - just semi retired for now, but it's been brilliant ! However this is my new toy...

AND A NEW PLACE TO PLAY ? ...
My growing business means I have taken over the house rather TOO much. Plans area are afoot to move into a garden studio ... hopefully....

Want to come for coffee ! .. and cake... lots and lots of cake....

Hello my lovely likers and followers  - do you live near Cirencester ? let me know how to message you and I will send you an invite to my Macmillan coffee morning on the 27th Sept and to my Autumn Open House Event the following weekend - it would be lovely to see you! 

On the Macmillan Coffee morning -

• there will be Coffee, Tea and cake
• you can enter an Audreyscat and homemade yummies raffle
• all attendees will be entered into a FREE raffle to win some AudreyCat bunting
• all my AudreysCat stock will be displayed and I will donate 10% of all of my sales and paind for commissions to Macmillan
• I have a number of local creatives displaying some of their items and Laura will be there with some of her vintage jewellery and other pretties
• small selection of vintage cake stands and crockery will be on sale

On the Autumn Open house the following week all my stock will remain available for sale and I will be open in the afternoons for tea , cake and chatting - no need to buy just pop in to say hi ! - although it you DO buy 10% of sales and paid for commission will also be going to Macmillan.

What's It All About?

This shop is all about custom making YOUR item from MY vintage fabric.
1.Select the item you'd like - cushion, bag, animal ...
2. Select the fabric you'd like  - prices vary according to age/condition/rarity

It's that time of year again! Bye Bye 2012... HELLO 2013 !

So I've new ideas to explore  - a idea about flowers, new owl ,cat , rabbit and frog designs to play with and develop, new bunting ideas, more patchwork cushions and possibly artwork - all with my vintage fabrics. I'm also going to relaunch my website to be the hub for my custom orders and a place to showcase all my vintage fabric.

This means I have to clear a little out of my existing shops - so have a look in my sale sections - at the moment there are about 50 items on sale!
